For the price that I paid, they sent three personnel to clean our vents and AC duct. They also have a camera in their vacuum and a monitor so that you can see what they are cleaning. Mould removal and regular maintenance are quoted after a free inspection. You get a firm, itemised price before any work starts.
Once a year for most Dubai homes, and every six months if you have pets, allergies, a newborn, or you run the AC hard all day. Heat and humidity here turn duct dust damp far faster than in cooler climates, so the real interval is shorter than the manual in the box suggests.
It helps. A dirty coil and a restricted duct both force the system to run longer to reach the same temperature, which pushes consumption up. Coil cleaning usually has the largest single effect on the bill. A full clean covers the coils, ducts, filters and drainage together.
