Dust is unavoidable here. On its own it is a nuisance. Combined with the humidity that sits inside a ducted system running most of the year, it becomes the growing medium for bacteria and mould. Then the system starts, and all of that gets pushed through your home.
You usually smell it before you see it: a damp, musty note when the AC first kicks in. By then the growth is established inside the duct runs, well past anything a cloth on the grille will reach.

Plenty of duct cleaning in Dubai is a wipe of the grille and nothing behind it. The duct run itself - metres of it, above your ceiling - is never entered. You cannot see it either way, which is exactly why we put a camera in there.
For the price that I paid, they sent three personnel to clean our vents and AC duct. They also have a camera in their vacuum and a monitor so that you can see what they are cleaning. Consider me a repeat customer - I plan to have my vents and AC ducts cleaned every 3 to 6 months to ensure my newborn baby breathes fresh air here in Dubai.

No. Wiping the grilles cleans the part you can see, which is a small fraction of the system. The dust, moisture and biological growth that affect your air sit in the duct runs behind them. Reaching that needs a roto-brush fed into the ductwork, which is what we use - and our machine carries a camera so you can watch it happen.
It helps. Restricted ducts force your system to run longer to reach the same temperature, which increases energy use. Duct cleaning restores airflow. If your bill is the main concern, coil cleaning usually has the larger single effect, and a full clean addresses both.
Yes. We clean the duct interior mechanically first, then disinfect the whole system with a water-based, hydrogen-peroxide solution using a cold ULV fogger. The products are eco-friendly and safe around children and pets. Where growth is heavy we will recommend our dedicated AC Mould Removal service instead.
