Privacy Policy

Written to describe this website as it actually works, in language you can read once and understand.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy covers homezy.ae, operated by Homezy, a home services business working in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you have a question about anything here, email info@homezy.ae and a person will answer.

The short version

This website stores nothing about you. It is static HTML: there is no database behind it, no login, and no server-side script that receives form submissions. When you use the quote form, your browser builds a WhatsApp message out of what you typed and opens WhatsApp. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in WhatsApp itself.

What we do have is analytics and advertising tools from Google, Meta and Microsoft, which set cookies and record how the site is used. One of them, Microsoft Clarity, records sessions. Details are below, and so is how to switch them off.

What we collect, and when

Browsing the site

We collect nothing directly. Our web host produces standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web server does. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

The quote form

The form on our contact page asks for your name, your area of Dubai, the service you want and, optionally, a phone number, a preferred date, a property type and a note. None of it is stored on this website or transmitted to a server of ours. It is assembled into a WhatsApp message in your own browser, and you then choose whether to send it.

Once you do send it, we receive the message and the WhatsApp phone number attached to it. WhatsApp provides that number, not this website. We use it to quote you, to arrange the visit, and to follow up on the job.

Calling or emailing us

If you call +971 50 405 6541 we see your number. If you email info@homezy.ae we have your email address and whatever you wrote. Both are used to deal with your enquiry.

WhatsApp

Almost all of our customer conversations happen on WhatsApp, which is a Meta product. Anything you send us there is also handled by Meta under its own terms, not ours. If you would rather not use it, call or email us instead - you will get the same service.

WhatsApp’s privacy policy is here: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

We run four third-party tools. They load only after you interact with the page, or after a short delay if you do not - that is a performance decision rather than a privacy one, but it does mean a visitor who leaves immediately may never load them at all. Each of them sets cookies in your browser.

Google Analytics 4

Tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where in the world they are. We look at it in aggregate, to decide what to write next.

Google Ads conversion tracking

We advertise on Google. This tells us which ads led to an enquiry, so we are not paying for clicks that go nowhere. It can also be used by Google to show you our ads elsewhere.

Meta Pixel

The same idea for Facebook and Instagram advertising. It reports back to Meta that a visit or an enquiry happened, and it lets us show ads to people who have been on the site.

Microsoft Clarity

This is the one worth knowing about, so we will be plain: Clarity records sessions. It captures mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and taps, and builds heatmaps and playback of how pages get used. It is how we find out that a button is being missed or a section is being skipped. Clarity is configured to mask text you type into form fields, but a session recording is still a recording of your visit.

The vendors’ own policies

Turning them off

  • Google publishes a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Your browser’s privacy settings can block or clear third-party cookies. Every current browser can do this.
  • A tracker-blocking extension will stop all four of these outright. Nothing on this site breaks if you use one.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to other companies to market to you. The only parties who see it are the analytics and advertising vendors named above, in the course of doing what those tools do, and the Homezy technicians who need your name, address and phone number to turn up and do the job.

The law we work under

Homezy is a UAE business, so the relevant law is UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, usually shortened to the PDPL. Our lawful basis for using your details is straightforward: you contacted us asking for a service, and we need your details to provide it. For analytics and advertising, our basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, and you can opt out as described above.

Some of the tools above are operated by companies outside the UAE, which means data about your visit may be processed abroad, under those companies’ own safeguards.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information of yours we hold, and get a copy of it;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • stop processing it, including for marketing.

Email info@homezy.ae and say which of those you want. We will not charge you for it and we will not ask why. If you want a WhatsApp thread deleted, tell us and we will delete our side of it; you control your own copy from within WhatsApp.

How long we keep things

WhatsApp threads and emails are kept for as long as we need them to service the enquiry and to honour the 3-day warranty afterwards, plus whatever period we are required to keep records of work and payments. We are not building a long-term marketing list out of them. Analytics data is held by the vendors under their own retention schedules, linked above.

Children

Our services are booked by adults and this website is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because there is no database and no stored form data, there is nothing here to breach - that is a deliberate design choice and the strongest privacy protection this website has. Your conversation with us lives in WhatsApp, on our phones and yours, protected by WhatsApp’s own encryption and by the passcode on the device.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a tool, or change how we handle enquiries, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not backdate it. There is no mailing list to notify, so if this matters to you, the date is the thing to check.

Contact

Questions, requests or complaints about privacy go to info@homezy.ae, or WhatsApp +971 50 405 6541. If we have not sorted it out to your satisfaction, you can raise it with the UAE Data Office, the regulator responsible for the PDPL.
