Priced on their own, one duct is AED 349, coil cleaning is AED 299 and filter and outdoor unit cleaning is AED 149. That is AED 797 for a single duct - and nobody has yet opened the unit to reach the blower fan, the drain tray or the drain pipe. Full Cleaning is AED 599 per unit and includes every one of those, whatever the duct count on that unit turns out to be.
The parts only a full clean reaches are the ones that cause the worst problems. The blower fan cakes with dust on the back edge of every blade and then throws that dust down the ducts. The drain tray holds standing condensate all summer. The drain pipe silts up until water backs into the ceiling. None of those are visible from the room, and none of them are in a duct-only or coil-only scope.
Weak airflow and a musty smell and a rising bill together points at the whole system, not one component.
A brown ring or a drip means the drain tray or the drain pipe is blocked. Only a full clean opens both.
If the smell returned within weeks, something upstream of the cleaned part was left dirty and re-seeded it.
You have no record of what the previous occupant’s AC looked like inside. Do it once and start from a known state.

The dirtiest single component in a Dubai AC. Dust cakes onto the trailing edge of each blade, where nothing fed in through an access panel will reach it.
Evaporator indoors and condenser outdoors, washed with eco-friendly products and a high-pressure water pump. Both have to be clean for the cooling cycle to work at its designed capacity.
The tray sits under the coil holding condensate all summer. The pipe silts up until water backs up into the ceiling. This is where mould starts more often than anywhere else in the system.
Dried before refitting, not just rinsed. A damp filter put back into a cold unit is a better mould substrate than a dusty one.
The space the unit sits in collects its own dust, and air passes through it. Cleaning the unit and leaving the cavity dirty undoes half the job.

A full clean gives you two kinds of proof. The components we take out - blower fan, filters, diffusers - sit on the dust sheet in front of you, dirty and then clean. There is nothing to take on trust about a fan you can see.
The ducts are the part you can’t see, so our roto-brush machine has a camera and monitor built into it. You watch the inside of your own duct runs on screen while the brush works through them.

A “full clean” in Dubai usually stays quick by leaving the components in the ceiling. Nothing comes out, so the blower fan, the drain tray and the drain pipe are never actually reached - and those are the three parts that cause the worst problems.
For the price that I paid, they sent three personnel to clean our vents and AC duct. They also have a camera in their vacuum and a monitor so that you can see what they are cleaning. Consider me a repeat customer - I plan to have my vents and AC ducts cleaned every 3 to 6 months to ensure my newborn baby breathes fresh air here in Dubai.

Duct cleaning is priced per duct and cleans the duct runs, the diffusers and the grilles. Full cleaning is priced per indoor unit and includes those ducts plus everything inside the unit itself - the blower fan comes out, the evaporator coil is cleaned, the drain tray is cleaned and the drain pipe is flushed. The outdoor condenser is done too. If your only problem is dust in the ducts, duct cleaning in Dubai is enough.

We take the access panels off, remove the fan, clean it out of the unit, and refit it. That is the part a surface clean skips.

Three to five hours for a typical two-unit apartment, with a three-technician team. Stripping and refitting the unit is what takes the time - the duct work runs in parallel while the blower fan and coils are out being cleaned. A large villa with five or six units is usually a full day.
It addresses both of the things that raise it. A dust-coated coil transfers less heat, so the compressor runs longer to reach the same room temperature. Restricted ducts and a loaded filter cut the airflow, so the system moves less air per minute. Cleaning all three at once is the most complete answer available, though we will not put a percentage on it - nobody honestly can without metering your specific system.
Once a year for most Dubai homes, with filter cleaning in between. Homes near the coast, homes with pets, and households running the AC hard all day usually want it sooner. If you have just taken over a handover or a resale property, do it once at the start so you know what you are working with.
